The guarantor plays a crucial role in the visa application process, as without them, the visa application cannot be submitted. A sponsor for foreign students can be an individual or an educational institution where the student is pursuing their studies in Indonesia. The student visa sponsor must first register at visa-online.imigrasi.go.id to obtain a user ID and password. Only then can the student visa application be submitted on the same website.
