Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang has consistently positioned itself in the top rank of reputable higher education on arts and humanities field in Indonesia as well as in the ASEAN region. However, Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang determines to keep advancing towards global recognition.
About ISI Padang Panjang
Indonesia Art Institute of Padangpanjang is one of art institutes that tries to seek, build, and develop the art and culture of Indonesia Archipelago. These can be achieved by graduating qualified graduates that have competency in art and culture. Qualified graduates of Indonesia Art Institute of Padangpanjang are intellectual artists and humanists that have global insight based on aesthetics, ethics, and logic.
Expected orientation is the fulfillment of stakeholders’ needs that includes professional needs, social needs, industrial needs, and scientificvision needs. It corresponds to Law number 20 year 2003 about the system of national education. This law states that education is a mindful and planned effort to actualize the conducive atmosphere of study and conducive process of learning so the students can actively develop their potencies to have spiritual power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skill required by themselves, society, nation, and country. And to accommodate the needs of stakeholders and the goal of national education system, Indonesia Art Institute of Padangpanjang has two faculties comprised of twelve departments.
Nowadays, art is very close to people. Moreover, it has become one of people’s needs. The need for art has become something crucial in people’s daily life similar to other needs. People enjoy various kinds of art started from simple art until luxurious art, traditional art until modern one whether they are enjoyed through live performance and live exhibition or recorded performance and printed exhibition. These kinds of art require talented and creative artist to create and perform them. And it is clearly a good chance for artists especially the graduates of Indonesia Art Institute of Padangpanjang to show and perform their abilities to people and society
CIA Profile
Centre of International Affairs (CIA) or Pusat Urusan Internasional (PUI) of Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang welcomes students from all over the world. Have a look at our website that has been developed to provide information and advice to foreign students who would like to study at Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang.
The Centre of International Affairs (CIA) deals with the maintenance and the extension of international cooperation with foreign universities and other international institutions alike. It is the goal of CIA to provide information, to ease the application procedure, and to provide advice and assistance to international students. In addition, the Centre aims at ensuring that every international student has the most positive experience at Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang. CIA’s major activities include the following:
- Maintaining and developing international cooperation with foreign partner universities and international institutions;
- Initiating and Activating MoU with partner universities or institutions abroad;
- Organizing Cultural and Educational Programs for international students including:
- Supporting various international conference and activities held at Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang such as:
- University Network’s Events/Meetings
- Joint Workshop with International Academic Institutions
- International Seminar
- Assisting admission, permits, insurance, accommodation, for international students
- Providing assistance, practical advice, and information that will help you prepare for living in Padangpanjang, Indonesia and studying, teaching, and conducting research at Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang; assistance in visa and other permits matter.
